NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY

Germans love to celebrate the start of a new year together. A party with friends and eating Raclette are very popular. A fingerfood buffet is also very popular on a New Year's Eve party. Then everyone brings something to eat or drink.

At midnight, sparkling wine is served and a new fireworks display welcomes the new year.

Recipe: Easy cabbage rolls

Preheat your oven to 200°C.

First, roll out some freshmade or convenient pizza dough (40x30cm). Spread 5 tbs of cream, flavored with salt, pepper and nutmeg on it.

Take a handful of walnuts and chop them in little pieces. Spread them on the pizza dough.

Drain 150 g of red cabbage and 150 g of Sauerkraut well. Spread the red cabbage on one half of the pizza dough and the Sauerkraut on the other. Finish with 100g grated cheese e.g. Emmentaler.

Roll the pizza dough, cut slices (about 3 cm per slice). Place the rolls on a baking tray and give some grated cheese on each roll.

Bake the cabbage rolls around 15-20 minutes.
